Jeff Rothenberger and Fred Griffiths presented on implementation of CFF at Warwick High School
Presentation Notes
Year 1 school - all teachers received equipment - whiteboards, speakers, teacher laptop
Fred and Jeff showed implementation ideas utilizing Web 2.0 sites
Keynote - jigsawing content through student presentations. SCIP - student centered integrated projects - integrate curriculum through technology projects
Warwick uses the PSSA writing rubric for grading all writing in all classes.
One Act play - used Moodle and Google Docs - students collaboratively wrote a 1 act play and performed it.
Dialogue - students wrote dialogue and recorded it using iMovie.
Webquest - using Moodle - students created a "MySpace" page for Merchant of Venice - A Day in the Life... A Personal Journey through the English Renaissance - using Word and this year used Glogster
SCIP project - creation and publication of children book - 1 1/2 year project - work done outside of school day and during study halls - included multiple departments - student created softcover books just released including author signing at Lititz Public Library - project included marketing plan For more information contact Jeff Rothenberger or see the article on the district's website
READ poster in high school - printed in color and laminated - posters centered on a specific vocabulary word/term/concept - students chose the software
